Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) carried 13,219 passengers in the first half of 2026.
ASCO reported that this is 3.4% more compared to the same period last year (12,783 people).
In the reporting period, the highest number of passengers was transported in June – 2,944 people, representing a 25.6% increase compared to the same month last year (2,344 people).
In January-June, a total of 8,497 passengers were carried on the Alat-Kuryk and Kuryk-Alat routes: 4,658 people traveled in the Alat-Kuryk direction, and 3,839 people in the Kuryk-Alat direction.
During the same period, 4,722 passengers were transported on the Alat-Turkmenbashi and Turkmenbashi-Alat routes. 2,692 passengers traveled in the Alat-Turkmenbashi direction, and 2,030 people in the Turkmenbashi-Alat direction.
