Russia will undoubtedly win and preserve its statehood. Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with this thesis on August 5 during a meeting with Vladimir Mashkov, chairman of the Union of Theater Workers (STD) of Russia.

The head of the STD touched upon the topic of the special military operation in a conversation with the president and expressed confidence in the country's success.

"Of course, it is indisputable that victory will be ours, and we will preserve both the country and our great culture," Mashkov emphasized.

During the conversation, Mashkov cited a historical example, recounting the memories of People's Artist of the RSFSR Stanislav Lyubshin about May 9, 1945. On that day, 12-year-old Lyubshin was standing in line at a dairy shop that had not opened for a long time.

"Suddenly the door opens, a happy saleswoman comes out and says: 'Comrades, Victory, there will be no milk,'" the STD chairman shared the story.

Vladimir Mashkov also invited the head of state to attend the congress of the Union of Theater Workers.

"Definitely, I will do everything to make it happen," Putin replied.

On July 26, Putin stated that he never for a second doubted that the special military operation (SMO) would end in Russia's victory. The head of state also noted the unity of the Russian people, emphasizing the importance of preserving this quality after the completion of the SMO.
