Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanel Kushukova announced this to journalists on the sidelines of the Senate.

According to her, the corresponding decision is being considered within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Kushukova noted that the measure is aimed at increasing fuel supplies to the domestic market and preventing shortages. First of all, Kazakhstan is considering the possibility of importing fuels and lubricants from China.

The Vice Minister emphasized that the volumes of possible supplies will be determined taking into account the needs of the domestic market.

In addition, restrictions on the export of fuels and lubricants will continue to apply in Kazakhstan. According to Kushukova, such measures are extended every six months.
