As of June 1, 2026, credit investments in the Karabakh economic region amounted to 556.865 million manats, according to a statistical bulletin from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

This figure is 75.3 million manats, or 12.3%, higher compared to the same period last year. During the reporting period, the average interest rate on credit investments in this region was 19.92%. Of the loans extended in the region, 556.547 million manats were denominated in national currency, and 318,000 manats in freely convertible currency (FCC).

Credit investments in the East Zangezur economic region increased by 21.7 million manats, or 2.9 times, compared to the same period last year, reaching 32.755 million manats. The average interest rate for this indicator during the reporting period was 13.52%. Of the loans extended in the region, 24.383 million manats were in national currency, and 8.373 million manats in FCC.

The total volume of credit investments in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions reached 589.620 million manats, representing a year-on-year increase of 82.6 million manats, or 16.3%.

As of June 1, 2026, the volume of credit investments across all regions of Azerbaijan amounted to 30.886 billion manats. This figure is 2.5 billion manats, or 8.8%, higher compared to the same period in 2025.
