Measures to support youth startup projects and attract foreign investment will be expanded in Azerbaijan's regions. This is reflected in the "Action Plan for the Implementation of the Employment Strategy for 2026–2030," approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
Implementation of the measures, to be carried out in 2026–2030, has been assigned to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. Other implementing bodies include the Innovation Center, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASAN Xidmət), and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs (recommended).
At the initial stage, the measures provide for holding presentation days for startup projects (at least 50 startups, at least 2 presentation days), followed by increasing the number of startups to at least 100 and presentation days to at least 4. Ultimately, the goal is to increase the level of startup commercialization and the number of projects that attract investment and gain access to international markets.
