Azerbaijan's strategic currency reserves are estimated at $85.75 billion as of July 1, 2026.

$72.60 billion, or 84.7% of reserves, belong to the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), while $13.16 billion, or 15.3%, belong to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

In the second quarter, the country's currency reserves increased by $580.9 million, or 0.7%. However, SOFAZ's reserves decreased by $919.9 million, or 1.3%, while CBA's reserves increased by $1.5 billion, or 12.9%.

Overall, over the year (July 1, 2026 compared to July 1, 2025), the country's total currency reserves increased by $8.08 billion, or 10.4%.
