Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), part of AZCON Holding, has added another Airbus A320neo to its fleet. This is the fourth aircraft delivered to the airline in 2026. With the new plane, the total number of aircraft operated by Azerbaijan Airlines has reached 30.

The introduction of the Airbus A320neo marks the latest step in Azerbaijan Airlines' fleet renewal program with next-generation aircraft. This approach enhances the airline's operational flexibility, helps meet growing passenger demand more efficiently, and supports further expansion of its route network.

The aircraft features an Airspace cabin, larger overhead bins, high-speed Wi-Fi, individual monitors in business class, and new-generation engines. This provides passengers with a higher level of comfort while also reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan Airlines added two Airbus A320neo and one Airbus A321neo to its fleet. By the end of 2026, Azerbaijan's national carrier plans to take delivery of a record number of new aircraft. Under this program, the airline is gradually introducing next-generation Airbus planes and aims to increase its fleet to 50 aircraft by 2032.
